Just read some news articles about an android rootkit. Nicholas J. Percoco and Christian Papathanasiou will be giving a live demonstration of Android rootkit at Defcon this year. The rootkit, once installed on the target Android phone, can be activated by a "trigger number" and sends a revers shell to the attacker.
