eLearning Security is the only one I may be able to afford. Money is super tight. It will either be that or PADI Divemaster.. I know it's not It related, but it's training that I've wanted to do for a long time and it's the same price as the eLearning course.
Unless you're planing on moving somewhere you can dive a lot and don't mind being a boat hand, or planing to go on to become an instructor I wouldn't mess with the PADI Divemaster.
I was an SDI Divemaster. Most of my time after getting it was spent working with students, assisting the instructor, being the victim for rescue corses, or working toward my instructor cert.
The other guys I knew that were dive masters, on occasion got to lead dives, but most of the time were deck hands on the dive boat. Getting the divers in and out of the water, cleaning the boat after returning to dock, and doing the general maintenance on the equipment. It was rare for them to get in the water.
I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it. I mean where else are you going to be legally allowed to jump from one boat to another and tie it up to yours?
