Visible Risk (http://visiblerisk.com) posted a podcast hosted by Rocky DeStefano (Visible Risk), along with Rob Lee (SANS / Mandiant), Richard Bejtlich (GE / Tao of Security), Mike Cloppert (Lockheed Martin), and Shawn Carpenter (Netwitness).  Interesting discussion on Advanced Persistent Threat from some of thought leaders in the field.  The audio volume is really low, but it is worth cranking the volume.

It's a great conversation on the defensive/IR side and it goes to show that it a heck of a topic APT is, as even these four folk have different takes on what APT means to them.

Some though provoking questions crop up and I think it will take quite some time to attempt to answer them.

Look forward to the next recording!

Been to seminar with snort last week regards to APT from sourcefire. Marti Roesch made the talk. Good to hear that this would be the trend for this year as he said.
