From Fyodor's recent email blast:

Quote

I'm also pleased to announce the 2010 Nmap/Sectools Survey! We previously ran this survey in 2000, 2003, and 2006, and it helped guide Nmap development as well as sharing our collective wisdom through http://sectools.org/.  We had 3,243 responses in 2006 and are trying to reach 5,000 this year.  And this year we've upped the ante by offering prizes!  So please take this quick survey, and in return we'll build you a better Nmap and a new and improved Sectools.Org:

http://nmap.org/survey/

Thanks,
Fyodor

Please help his efforts,
Don

Awesome. I just referenced the old list again today and was wondering when a new one would be put together. Thanks for the heads-up.

Edit: I got a laugh out of the turd designation and a couple of the survey questions that checked if you were paying attention Cheesy

did the survey. I see a bright future ahead for nmap!

i would like to apologize in advance: if there will be an animated paperclip giving (unwanted) hints in the next release i will be the one to blame Wink

Looking forward to the final results. I'd like to see this survey held every year though.

I'd have to agree.  Every 3-4 years is a long time.
