Yes I am putting a link to another forum but its a good forum. Here is lots of good info on Western Governors University.

http://www.techexams.net/forums/jobs-degrees/51715-western-governors-university-questions-answers-threads-related-wgu.html

I have an A.A.S. in Computer Network Technology, and am currently pursuing a B.S. in Information Technology from Western Governors University.

Anyone from South Carolina on here? I just moved from Michigan last year and would like to make contacts.

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on the WGU.

How is the job market in South Carolina. I've been thinking about leaving Michigan for somewhere else, and South Carolina was one of the places on the list.

@chrisj:

Funny that you ask me about South Carolina. I just moved to South Carolina eight month ago from West Michigan. It took me only a week to find a job after moving down. When I first moved down I was being bombarded by phone calls, and e-mails about different IT jobs. It has gotten worse down here since then though, and only in the last two weeks have I seen an upturn in job ads looking for IT workers. I suspect in the next month it will get even better for IT job hunters. Also, the further south you go in South Carolina the more IT jobs you will find. My wife has family in Upcountry so it's unlikely we will be moving very far away from the Upcountry.

@chrisj: WoW, it seems like I have lately been getting many questions from people about WGU. I will defer to kriscamaro68's link to the thread I started on TechExams:

If that doesn't answers all your questions send me a PM.
