I have a long vacation coming up and I'll have some free time to study and was thinking that it might be a good idea to buy the official CHFI study guide and take it with me and hopefully take the exam when I get back.
I have a few questions that I'm hoping can be answered by members that have already achieved the CHFI certification:

Would I need a computer for studying for the CHFI exam using the official guide listed above, meaning is the book alone sufficient for studying and passing the exam? I don't want to take my laptop with me, but if the book is all I need, great!

How much study time did you spend on studying for the CHFI exam?
