Has anybody read this book? Sounds like a fun read for the holidays.
Quote
Dissecting the Hack is one heck of a ride! Hackers, IT professionals, and Infosec aficionados will find a gripping story that takes the reader on a global trip through the world of computer security exploits. One half massive case study, one half technical manual, Dissecting the Hack has it all - learn all about hacking tools and techniques and how to defend your network against threats.
Yes, the security threats are real - read more about the tactics that you see executed throughout the story in the second half of the book where you will learn to recon, scan, explore, exploit and expunge with the tools and techniques shown in the story. Every hack is real and can be used by you once you have the knowledge within this book!

Funny you should ask, because I just got an e-copy from Syngress and was about to solicit requests for EH-Netters to review it.
Any takers?

<raises hand in the air> Me me!! I'd appreciate a copy Don and I am more than happy to review the book. When do you need to the review completed? I ask as workload is relatively quiet at the moment but could pick up towards the end of the year.

Hello,
If you do not mind sending me that ebook, I would be happy to review it. I am blind and cannot seem to find a digital copy that is compatible with my reading software anywhere else. Is it a pdf? If so, please private messege me and I will provide an email for you.
Thanks,

You guys may or may not have heard about the issues with the STAR section of this book, and that is the reason the new release isnt until next year.
Jayson Street the author of this book is an excellent guy, I recommend you all join his community to be kept up to date on the book and his other offerings.
