I am a week away from taking my GCIH.  I've only needed to take one of the practice tests, so I'm offering the other one to anyone who wants it here.

I believe in order to receive the practice test  you must have a SANS/GIAC portal account.  I do not know if you have to be registered to challenge the GCIH exam or not.

Let me know if you are interested.  I believe the practice test is valid until December.  I do not know if the practice exam will go away after I take and pass the test.

Just PM me your SANS portal ID and I'll provide the number to my Swiss bank account for payment (just kidding).

(btw, yes, I'm alive.  I've been super busy with new projects at work, going back to school, and studying for GCIH.  I'm a glutton so I'm also going for GCIA because my work is paying for the training)

The GCIH practice exam has been given away to the first responder.  If anyone is interested in a GCIA certification attempt, I should have one available before April. Smiley

Well hello all, I just took and passed the GCIH today and I must a say it was very challenging. All I had was my copy of Counter Hack Reloaded to get me thru but I survived.  In honor of my recent success I would like to offer a free practice test to a deserving individual.  Although i'm not sure what would be the most appropriate way to do this.  So let's just see who responds.

Did you take at a Prometric site? I tried taking my GCIH at New Horizons Prometric site on the 19th and the test bombed 30 questions in (script unresponsive on page, prevented me from submitting. Appeared to be a session timeout). Now I'm waiting on a waiver for the 30 day wait period retake so I can reschedule the exam but if Prometric is bombing, there's not much point.

I actually scheduled the exam through Pearson Vue however the testing was done at military only testing site.  BTW Thanks Ziggy.  Who ever would like to receive the practice test just inbox me.  I forgot what exactly is needed to transfer it but just send me your info and ill hook it up.  I guess whoever hits me first they can have it.

BTW Josh how is the CHFI i was kind of considering it as something to do next but i might just move towards the CISSP.  Then again I really want to get GCIA.
