Hello all.

New to the forums here at EH. I was wondering if someone has a good "template" out there with some generic EH activities for USB, Wireless, Network, etc.

Thanks for any help.

It depends on what you mean by 'template' and 'activities'. If you want to get started in Ethical Hacking there are plenty of similar threads on these forums which recommend many great books and online resources.

Thanks for the pointer. I will look through the forums. I am responsible for documenting an ethical hacking process against a new product. What I was looking for is a general template, a template that might have way to much information, but could be trimmed if needed. By way of activities, I was referring to the actual activities needed to be performed to identify and exploit our system.

If you know of any good resources that you would recommend, please let me know.

For pen testing, I like this framework.   I think it's very complete and has some great built-in references:

The link provided by Ketchup is definitely worth to check and work through. Some other methodologies which might interest you are OSSTMM and SP800-115.

Sorry I misunderstood the question. OSSTMM is great and also if its a web application OWASP's Testing Guide is good too. http://www.owasp.org/index.php/Category:OWASP_Testing_Project

Thansk's again for the pointers.. Ketchup, that is EXACTLY what I was looking for... it is a great start. There is a ton of info that I will not need, but I would rather trim then be left without.

Thanks again.
