I am currently dual-booting with Vista and LinuxMint. I want to learn how to use wardriving tools such as Kismet, Netstumbler and so on...however, me being new to all of this, I cannot seem to figure out how to install either of them correctly. Every forum keeps telling me to compile....using the commands .configure, make and makefile....yea I really am not sure what all that is.

Can someone please inform me of how to install and get them up and running using technical language combined with a n00b description? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
