Hi everyone, I just started and I want to know how to hack a Gmail account, and how to add more security if possible. What skills do I need for this?

We are not here to teach you how to hack gmail or myspace.  If you think this is the place for that, you may need to refer to the term "ethical" in the domain name.  Honestly, even if you tried asking this question on an unethical hacker forum, you would not get the response you are looking for.... with that said, we are more than willing to share our experiences and knowledge with you.

There are various attack vectors when it comes to online systems.  Man in the middle attacks, social engineering, and password guessing to name a few.

When it comes to any system (gmail in this example), how do you add more security?  Log in using HTTPS (which is the default now for gmail), which encrypts the logon credentials.  Also using a large as possible password with upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. Do not share your password on multiple systems.  On the client side, install anti-virus, firewalls, anti-spyware, and anti-malware, to make sure nobody is looking over your shoulder (literally and figuratively).  Do not use publicly accessible terminals or wifi.  If you are using wifi at home enable the highest level of encryption and change your keys frequently.

keep your browser updated, update your browser from trusted networks only, check its root CA certificates periodically, keep a bookmark to the login page, ensure it points to an https page and always check the certificate domain name match the domain you requested. also if you use any MUA, check the option to use pop/imap over ssl too.
