As you gave us only a very brief description without telling your former experience or knowledge of it is a little hard to give a specific answer.

There are many ways to make a career (although it can depend on what one is meaning with this). First I would definetily recommend to search through this forums and on google to see already given recommendations.  You are not the first one with this thought.

It will surely help to have some certificates (again, there have already been given many recommendations on which one are good or not, which ones are for beginners, intermediates or experts) on your resume as well as it might help to list some publications you may have done. Also it is often recommended to work on open source projects or participate in some other ways and list it as well.

Something you might want to watch and listen to is the "Couch to Career in 80 hours or less" presentation by Rob Fuller which can be found here.

However, it would help to know a little bit more about yourself.

yes off course u shuld give ur full info. well if you are new in this field then before entering in this field you should have networking knowledge for this you can go for MCSE & CCNA then you can go for CEH v6 (Certified Ethical Hacker) certification by EC- Council. this certification gives you the entry into the Network Security.
