Has anybody every taken this course and/or gotting the GREM certificate?
Just wondering if it is worthwhile or whether its just better to learn on your own? SANS is quite expensive and I would like to be able to justify it to management.

Although this thread is quite old I still wanted to ask if you had in meantime the possibility to do the GREM course and if so if you could give any information about it?

Are you still doing the GREM course? Would you like to write a review about it when you are finished with everything? I also would be highly interested in the contents covered in the official courseware.

yeah awesec still in the process .. reading the course wear and working on practicles....
a really good set off tools and a standard procedure will really be a good start.... for doing malware analysis
the base of the malware analysis is
differentiating between , worms, trojans, bots, virus... etc

Looking forward to your review. Smiley
If I get the opportunity I would like to go through GREM in future too.
