  • Appoint CyberSecurity Coordinator
  • Develop strategy to security information/communication networks
  • Organize incident response and increase communications between agencies
  • Strengthen public/private partnerships
  • Invest more in R&D
  • National 'CyberSecurity Awareness'

For right now, it sounds the plan is to first find someone to head up CyberSecurity, then create a new command within the DoD that will be responsible for both defensive and offensive security.

thanks for that. I guess its to much to hope this role / team would have some way of being impartial, instead of being DoD related. Then again I dont know enough about the whole US setup.

Doing anything is a step in the right direction though, I hope it doesnt go all Over The Top.
