Just received an email this morning saying that CCCure is now offering a CBT kit for the CEH v6. It's endorsed by EC-Council, so if you go that route it's just like taking a classroom course - no waiver for the 2-years experience requirement required. It's a bit pricey, but is still another option available for those looking to obtain the CEH.
