Hi All

In one of the previous thread's regarding CEH sais that the exam will be retired in June 2009, is this true?  Do you know why and is there an alternative to this exam?

Wow. I read the title of this and got really nervous. It would sure suck if I went through all this trouble to take the CEH exam and it just disappeared...

...just wondering, how much do you think the new exam will differ from the current one?

In other words what are some new things that wouldn't be included in my study guides that I should learn before attempting the test?

hello,

visit www.eccouncil.org

compare this version 5.0 (22 modules)

http://www.eccouncil.org/Exam/312-50.htm

the newer version 6.0 (more than 60 modules) if I'm not mistaken.

so that's why, if you can take ver 5.0, do it fast, don't hesitate, otherwise, you got more to "read".

yeah, you got that right, I saw the CEH v6 brochures in one of the training centre and there were like over 60, but then again, a more clearer explanation is here -> http://www.ethicalhacker.net/content/view/190/24/

the rest of the modules are self study....hmmmmm  Roll Eyes
