There is a forum post that falsely accuses my friend and is ranked first on Google when people search my friend's name. He has other listings like youtube videos but they can't knock off the first malicious search result. Does anybody have an idea how to get this top result off the first page of the Google search? This top listing is an affront to my friends good name.

You could ask them nicely Grin

I saw something online a few days ago about making those unfortunate internet blemishes disappear (legally). I'll try and find it again.

I'd seen this article before as well. I think they fail to underscore exactly how difficult it can be to get such items removed. Basically, unless you have fairly direct control over the site or know someone who does, then good luck getting rid of the content.

Yeah, I figured it wasn't quite as easy as they make it sound but you never know...maybe kindle will have more luck than we think Huh
