You can download the new VMware Server Release Candidate 1 by following the link for “Existing Users” and simply register using the same serial numbers from prior VMware Server beta releases. Alternatively, you can request for new serial numbers by following the link for "First Time Users."

VMware Server is a robust yet easy to use product for users new to server virtualization technology. VMware Server enables companies to partition a physical server into multiple virtual machines, and to start experiencing the benefits of virtualization.

VMware Server will continue to be a free virtualization product when it becomes generally available.
