I have recently come across these security certs:
http://www.securitycertified.net/
the SCNS exam is comprised of some interesting modules and it looks quite good.
One point i noted is that the Security Certified Network Specialist (SCNS), is easier than the Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP) cert. rather odd that a proffessonal exam is harder that a specialist i thought.
the Titles are very Modest also and reccon they would look good on my CV. the SCNS has the Security+ recommended as the prerequest, this is similar to the CEH.
I have ssen from thier website that the career path for 'Ethical Hacking Specialist' would be:
Security+ → SCNS → SCNP → CEH
I think it is very unethical for anyone who has completed the path above to call themself a 'Ethical Hacking Specialist ' anone completed both the CEH and SCNS/SCNP and how do they compare to each other?

I've heard of them, but don't have any personal experience. The courseware looks decent and may be pretty useful, just depends on your own background and knowledge.

Just from looking at their courseware list, it doesn't look like you can really compare it to CEH, they have two completely different objectives.

Wow, also worth noting is the price... $300 for both the SCNS and SCNP courseware and exam vouchers. If you're on a budget, this may be something definitely worth considering. Not a bad deal at all... hell, I might even buy it Tongue

$300 for both the SCNS and SCNP is very reasonable, the content of this exam. from a quick look at the objectives the SCNS and SCNP looks much more relevant to actual real life skills than the CEH, although obviously the CEH is much more well known. it would be good to get some response from somebodyu that has used the courseware and taken the exams.
