I wasn't having that exact issue with it but a friend was paying me to do virus removal on his computer and Trend Micro had been his AV (installed on there by Geek Squad from him taking it to Best Buy previously). It could of been the virus but it wouldn't make any sense, I was attempting to do an Uninstall of Trend Micro to add on my Security Suite of Choice. Trend Micro was taking up half a gig and would not remove. Don't get me wrong I'm not a noob at removing software, I just remember getting an error when trying to remove it. Since then I haven't been a fan of it but if a corporate network had it installed on their workstations, maybe it's more reliable then I thought?
