Coming now to prisons in the UK (that bastion of personal privacy), the B.O.S.S. Body Orifice Security Scanner. Basically a tool to detect various items secreted in various orifices (orifi?), this scanner is being put in place to combat the issue of cell phones, weapons, etc... being hidden in inmates body cavities. I dug around a bit to find the company selling the scanners and it appears that they are in New York. Hoo boy I can't wait until these start showing up in airports!  Shocked

Careful... I almost banned your account and quickly deleted this post as forum spam. Then I got a good laugh thinking about the salesperson working for this company.

"Are you tired of rubber gloves and lack of hygiene in the never-ending quest to the find the answer to life's most pressing question... 'Can you hear me now?' Then do I have a product for you!"

Thanks for the smile,

Pukker Up Smiley

Be interesting to see how this develops into more mainstream applications.

Send in the probes....

I got to go through one of those full body scanners at our local courthouse a bit back. It was a bit of an odd experience. I'm just waiting for the images to show up on the internet.

I feel sorry for the guy having to demo it to clinch the sale.  Shocked
