i know how to edit javascript and html and css, on the actual page just by going to inspect element, but what about external javascript files, or code in the DOM tag or in the javascript tag, i can't seem to edit that.  what if i want to edit a function? its easy to edit a specific instance of a funtion but what if i want to edit how that function is defined?
