It is with great pleasure that we at Paterva can finally release Maltego 2.0.2 CE – with local transforms!

Local transforms offer the power and flexibility that many of our users have been waiting for. You can now, with a few simple scripts in ANY language integrate with custom applications, web applications and even local data such as databases and files.

Local transforms are going to be building up more and more steam in the later releases where we will make it even easier then it currently is to add your own transforms and entities. You can think of version 2.0.2 as a teaser for the bigger, brighter and better ideas that Paterva will be generating!

You can already see local transforms in action with the Airgraph-NG integration on the Backtrack4 release, allowing you to easily visualize and analyze your wireless networks. You can also have a look at our forums for custom local transforms ( www.paterva.com/forum/ ) that people have already written!
