Ban!

Is there a program or a way that i can ban dynamic ip's from a server without including the whole ban range?I want to ban a few people and the ban range affect 50-100...

Your question doesn't make sense. You want to ban dynamic IP's from a ban range? You can certainly block specific IP's or a range of IP's...

After restarting the router ip changes.So for example if i want to ban
79.103.108.132
79.103.109.217
the first ip i would have to ban 79 or 79.103 but this will affect and the second ip.
Also if i ban the whole first ip he could easily rr his router and then join.That's what i mean..

No, there's no easy way to do that except to block each individual IP as it becomes a problem (unless you block the whole range). Either way you do it, if that IP is then dynamically assigned to someone else, you're denying service to a legitimate user (who has now been assigned the dynamic IP).

I'll caveat this answer saying that web app security is not my expertise but...if your running your own web app that you are trying to ban people from (i.e. a forum) then you can keep "non-techie" people out by using a cookie or a token of some sort that indicates a ban status. Obviously since this would have to be stored on their PC they could get rid of the token and be back in business but you might keep out some people that way.

You would have to have some way to know who the banned-fellow is such as the cookie idea. The cookie won't work if he goes elsewhere or figures out the cookies.

Without another way to track him it won't work. Nuking the whole ISP is your best bet. Grin
