Hot from the press:

Quote
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - A self-published novel about a killer computer program is taking over the big screen.

Producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are developing "Daemon," a techno thriller based on the novel by publishing phenom Daniel Suarez.

Very cool. Can't wait to see it. Hopefully they will do it justice.

Yeah! I hope they make an action-pack, visual aesthetic, no cheesy computer simulation imagery, realistic of the wall movie with outstanding actors that can fill the shoes of these characters depicted in the novel.

Oh yeah... and you need to add some hot chicks in the mix.  Grin

I'm afraid for it. There have been some really notable books that have been turned in absolutely awful movies, i.e. Starship Troopers. Hopefully this will have some better creative oversight.
