I'm curious to see what other devices have features like this. So far laptops, PDAs, phones, and vehicles.


- House alarms... for arming and setting whilst away, or getting notification when alarm has been triggered.
- i've implemented them on mission critical servers to notify me of issues or for me to sent specific commands back, e.g. restart a server whilst im at the beach or in the pub.

im sure there are loads more..

Hrmm house alarms are a good one. I think there are also garage door openers that allow you to initiate a change of key from the remote, which would also qualify, I think.
