I know it's been repeatedly asked about the self study option, and I've still been waiting over 3 weeks to hear back from ec-council which sounds normal from these forums... but my question is to anyone who has already taken the ceh exam at a pearson vue center.  I did CHFI training and was never asked my eligibility code to take the exam so when any of you took it, did you really have to give an eligibility code?

Did you take CHFI training at an Authorized Training Center? If so, they probably provided the eligibility code for you (without your knowledge) when the exam was scheduled. The code is required when you register for/schedule the exam, you will not be able to register without it.

If you have the experience, you can submit your application to EC-Council for a voucher code so that you may register for and take the exam.

If you do not have the experience, you will need to take a CEH training course prior to receiving a voucher.

Hope that helps.

problem solved... I originally opted to send my application via email but I tried the fax method and received my code within hours.

Thanks
