Backtrack Keystroke Problem

Hello Guys,

I have just downloaded backtrack 2 for penetration testing and it works fine. I can boot into the Xwindows without any problem. My little concern is, when I start using konsoles within the xwindows I have this typing/keystroke problem. When I press A, the system would always display AAAAAAA. I am running this version of backtrack in VMWare Server. Any help on this one would be appreciated

Hi i had the same the problem - i just reinstall the VMware workstation not server edition and it fix the problem ... there is should other way but let us wait ; )

Ha, I thought I was the only one who had this issue, guess it's more common than I thought. I think it's personally unnecessary to do a reinstall, what you can do (I did this as well and it worked), is click the K - > Settings - > Hardware - > Keyboard. Once it pops up, un-check the 'Enable Keyboard Repeat' option, hit apply then okay.
