I've currently been looking into a replacement for the anti-virus solution that I'm currently running, and wanted something that would support adequate support for both malware/virus protection. While looking into the topic, I've found that I'm leaning towards the idea of having a solution that is whitelist based, instead of signature based. This will not only protect us from 0 day attacks, but it will keep all unwanted applications and drive by malware off the workstations. I know Cisco is doing this with their CSA agent, and that Symantec announced recently that  they'll being going this approach as well. Besides these two vendors, are their any other recommended "whitelist" AV on the market?

Probably the most popular and innovative company doing whitelisting is Bit9.

Take a look for yourself:
