What's good folks,

I don't really post for help too much on this forum but I figured I'd post here and give it a shot. I was looking at a thread Chris posted Below:
http://www.ethicalhacker.net/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,54/topic,2823.0/
I'm actually having problems adding exploits into metasploit on Back Track 3. I'm wondering if someone could throw me some advice here, maybe some steps on how to do it. I referred to the link below:
http://carnal0wnage.blogspot.com/2008/07/adding-your-own-exploits-in-metasploit.html
but not having any luck. Thanks in advanced guys.

hmmmm

there has to be something in a conf file that has to tell msf to look in  a .msf folder.

let me dig and ask...

i think i replied to someone on the blog that reinstalling metasploit should fix that up for you

what exactly is not working?

you are running it from something persistent yes?

the first time you run any msf instance, it will create the .msf directory in /root.  after that you should be able to add code and msf find it automagically

I was getting that importing error you had and showed on your blog. I think I'll go back and have a look again maybe I misread something. Oh yeah, Chris, did you get my PM about San Diego ToorCon?
