Core Impact v5.1 Released
«
on:
April 18, 2006, 11:41:14 AM »
This product is quickly becoming the top dog in automated pen testing tools. This new version adds features to enable faster more efficient penetration tests.
Quote
CORE IMPACT v5.1 includes enhancements to address the significant increase in client-side attacks on end-user applications as well as enhancement to existing functionality. This version makes it even easier for network and security administrators to safely and efficiently exploit vulnerabilities in their network, replicating the kinds of access a hacker, worm or virus could achieve, and proving actual paths of attacks that must be eliminated.

If you haven't seen their Flash Demo of a real pen test in action using Core Impact, I highly recommend it. It will blow your mind.

If I could get you a discount, would this help your efforts?

Ummmm yeah. How much is it? I can give youi my work contact info because my boss saw the demo and it raised his interest as well. We have some pen-testing coming up and that would ease the process. You couldn't get a discount on WebInspect too could you?
Thanks Don! You never cease to amaze me.

Man, that does look neat. i don't have the $$$ for it either, but I ordered the demo, too.
Kinda looks like it takes all the fun out of doing it yourself.
Probably saves a lot of time, though.
Guess I'll have to be happy with my copy of Helix and Auditor that I burned. There's always something new to drool over. Where'd I heave that towel at?

Unfortunately they don't give you a demo you can try but an MPEG that you can watch that is more detailed than the one Don posted.

Oh, okay. It still looks pretty cool, though. They may call me to try and nail down the sale, that was part of the registration, as I'm sure you saw, but until I get some cashflow, they're going to have to sit at the end of a long line.
