First, I apologize. This has nothing to do with technology whatsoever. So if you have no further interest, click somewhere else.

Sorry, Don. I just had to post this...  Embarrassed

Some "hellbeast" creature has washed up on the shore in New York, US. No one can figure out wtf this thing is, at least not yet. I'm not sure if it's some sort of hoax or maybe an experiment gone horribly wrong. Here is a short article with some pictures...

Be warned though, it's pretty creepy.

BillV,

'Where's the IT angle?' Wink

really hoping that's a hoax....

P.S. it could make a good subject matter for spam/malware distribution, so I guess there is a tedious link there somewhere Smiley

Haha  Tongue

I'm not sure if it's a hoax or not. This story has so far actually made it to CNN, kind of surprising. I would expect some (at least local) scientists to be jumping at the chance to examine that thing.

I'm with you though.. hopefully it's either a hoax or some common animal just badly decomposed... it'd be pretty scary if it's something new.

Looks like a bad decomp of a raccoon.

Cheers,

Brian

Thanks, Brian! Grin

I had seen a lot of sites with people trying to claim it as a raccoon, but this image actually makes it legitimately look like one.
