I just searched EH.Net for a thread related to UTM boxes. However, nothing much is available.

We are planning to replace our existing entry-level firewalls (at multiple locations) with a UTM boxe that supports site-2-site VPN.

Some of the major players I found after a quick serach includes FortiNet and Juniper. Is there any other major players in the industry or any similar products?

Does any EH-Net Members have any experience with UTM boxes? The major drawback discussed with regard to UTM boxes is the throughput. When you have IDS, IPS, Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus, Conten Filtering running on a single box, a generally opinion is that speed is compromised. Is that true? Or the new-gen UTM boxes are robust enough to provide the required throughput? Let's discuss!!!!
