Dive Into Python - Book and Web Site

Cool resource with a free downloadable book. It also has links to many other resources. I haven't gotten too deep into the contents of the site, but it looks very promising for you budding Python coders.

i downloaded this book a couple of days ago and its a great book, very easy to follow along with and a good place to start learning, for me anyway.

This same publisher has a very good Perl book as well. It may be available as a free download by now, but I bought the hard copy a couple of years ago.

Nice to know. The book is pretty short... the Python one, but then again it didn't cost anything! Tongue

Free is always a good price for me. I'm actually about to play around with the software off the earlier thread of 'DIY IDS'. That should be fun too.
