Who all is going to be at the conference this weekend? Or maybe some of you are already there for a class (how's it going?).
I should be arriving Friday afternoon, hopefully just in time to catch the opening keynote.
Don, do we get cool name tags or something to show we're EH-Net members?

I'd imagine Don will probably release recordings of the keynotes and slides on the ChicagoCon website sometime shortly after the conference like he did last year.

That is correct and all files and recordings will remain free. Last year's slide decks and audio can be found here:

As for special badges for EH-Net members, shouldn't everyone be an EH-Net member?

ChicagoCon was great!
Despite my hotel screwing up my shuttle services and causing me to be nearly 2 hours late, plus having to walk a mile and a half to get there, I still enjoyed it!
I think Chris does a fine job on his write-ups, so I'm not going to duplicate anything he's already written or plans to write about the conference. I will say that I enjoyed the keynotes and speakers. It was pretty cool getting to meet some of those guys in person.
By far, I think the part I enjoyed most was getting to meet Don, Brian and Chris in person ( still not sure who geekyone was... we all look like geeks
). I really enjoyed getting to know those guys a little better in person and hanging out during and after the conference presentations.
It was definitely a great conference and I would highly recommend it to anyone that's considering going to the fall con. I hope to see you there
