Business travelers and consumers who subscribe to iPass will be able to get on Aircell's upcoming U.S. in-flight Wi-Fi service
Aircell's GoGo service will turn planes on some domestic flights into Wi-Fi hotspots, with cellular backhaul to the ground. Laptops and smartphones with IEEE 802.11a/b/g will be able to connect. Aircell won't allow either cellular or VoIP (voice over Internet Protocol) voice calls
Wow. A new level to feed the addiction of having to be constantly connected. You'd think something like this would have the potential to interfere with stuff wouldn't you? I don't know, maybe not.. Now we can all connect up to EH-Net in-flight
