Has anyone heard of this? A friend just told me about it today after his brother-in-law purchased one.
I know we were all excited about that EeePC, but how about something even smaller with more power? How about a little bigger than a standard mouse or about the size of a cell phone?
The OQO is a full featured PC with a 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, a 5" LCD screen, up to a 120GB HDD (or a 32 or 64 GB SSD), bluetooth, wireless (atheros), and ethernet. Comes with your choice of XP or Vista (or just wipe it and throw your favorite Linux on it as I'm sure most of us would do).
The price range varies depending on options, from $1,299 to $2,349. So far the biggest downside that I've noticed right away is that they say you cannot upgrade the RAM. Now, how much truth that has to it... I don't know, but I'd imagine it would require voiding a warranty
