Title: Risk Advisory Specialist
Location: Chicago IL
Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Description:
Monitor and analyze information security vulnerabilities and the related risk those vulnerabilities pose to the enterprise and related systems. 
Perform in-depth analysis of security patches, which includes light protocol analysis, reverse engineering through disassembly and debugging to determine the effectiveness of resolving the issue.
Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity and Compliance Program policies.
Maintain complete confidentiality of company related business.
Maintain effective communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, with 4 years related IT security work experience OR 6 years total experience, or equivalent knowledge. 
Expert level of understanding of computer architecture, including operating systems, inter-process communications, networking protocols and their related implementations.
Good level of understanding of compiled and interpreted programs and the types of security issues possible in each. 
Good level of understanding of x86 asssembly.
Proficient at source code reviews (at least c/c++) for security vulnerabilities. 
Proficient at reverse engineering binaries (at least x86) for security vulnerabilities. 
Experience with debuggers (preferably Softice) and disassemblers (preferably IDA) and binary analyzers (preferably bindiff).
Experience performing malware analysis through reverse engineering, protocol analysis, and log analysis.
