BBC reports: Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon made an official statement
supporting Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.
"I believe a bug in OS Linux has allowed hackers to access Pentagon network
and steal classified national security information and place blame on China"",
said Ban Ki-moon

_Marshel_,
have you got a link to the BBC news story? The English link appears to be down and my google search just brings me to your quote from the fulldisclosure mailing list (
http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2008/Apr/0003.html
).

this is absolute rubbish.
open source is generally better than proprietary stuff.
in addition it a costs nothing and may be improved by the user.

in addition to being a joke, it's also an insult to us open-source believers.
