Hi All,

HP has come out with WorkStations exclusively for Digital Forensics.

Read More about it at:
http://www.scmagazine.com/downloads/hpmicrosite/

Is there a similar system / product already in the market?

Just an FYI, there is nothing spectacular on that HP. For starters the capacity on the drives alone wouldn't be much if I had to do forensics on say 1/2TB. Personally I think you'd be better off building your own machine. Sorry for reposting, should have clarified it from the onset

i have used FRED a couple of time before : http://www.digitalintelligence.com/products/fred/

was quite an experience...  however at $6000..  its a bit expensive. especially for the spec, however it does come with a huge range of in-built features such as write blockers...  but the coolermaster stacker case is very bulky.. and heavy so its not a very portable system, despite the fact it has wheels.
