I know this is kinda off subject, but I could really use some help. A friends cell phone is showing text messages from my cell phone that I have never sent. I have even got a copy of the cell phone bill showing outgoing text messages and phone calls from my phone. I suspect my friend of 'phreaking' or hacking my cell phone to make this happen. Is this possible? Does anyone know how this could happen?

The most likely explaination is that someone with access to the phone is sending the messages. Who's had physical access to your phone?

Maybe a duplicate SIM card?

Maybe this http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6707

or simple caller ID/SMS spoofing unless he just used your phone.

No one has had access to my phone.  One of my other girlfriends says something similar happened to one of her friends.  What is ID/SMS spoofing?  I'm a real dumb blonde about all this really.   sorry Cry

Well this can all be done from any of the online VoIP providers like www.voipbuster.com or you can even buy a spoofing calling card from spoofcard.

Since we are talking about spoofing i can send a plug out to myself with the paper I released here in EH-Net:

This could be offtopic, but can i replicate my sim? I am sure there is a way to do this, i am interested as i surf over 3G and would like to have the capability to do calls and surf at the same time, and no i do not want to use my phone as the modem to connect to the pc/notebook. any useful urls for that?
