It was only a matter of time.  Smart phones are now able to do just about anything a PC can, but most people are less security conscious when it comes to a phone.

Don't forget that many smartphones are basically little back doors into the corporate network.  Even if you can get full access to their environment, the information contained in the emails on those phones is priceless.
