In some exciting news, the SANS Institute will be providing a 2-day workshop written by Ed Skoudis and instructed by ChicagoCon 2008s keynoter, James Shewmaker. Registration will be open soon, as final details are being completed. In the meantime, how does this sound?

"Cutting-Edge Hacking Techniques - Hands On" normally goes for $1795. At ChicagoCon, this same exact course will be offered for $1195. With our early registration discount of $200 before March 15, you'll get a SANS course for under a thousand dollars. Now that's an offer you're likely never to see again.

Stay tuned... we'll be sure to announce it right here when registration opens.

So, what do you think?

Wow! That's definitely un-heard of. How long until registration starts? I'll have to see if I can get the time/funds to attend this one Smiley

Also, slight difference between your post and the website:
post - instructor is James Shewmaker
site - instructor is John Strand (but not listed under keynote speakers)

Registration should be open this Friday or possibly first thing next week.

I fixed the instructor. It is James Shewmaker. Thanks for the heads up.

Couple announcements about this one...

1. Another change of instructor/keynoter, but I have to say I'm quite pleased about this one as it feels like we're keeping it in the family. Matthew Carpenter, Intelguardian and author of the Skillz H@ck1ng Challenge, Serenity Hack, will now be taking the helm of this drastically discounted SANS Hacking Workshop.

2. Registration is NOW OPEN

Be sure to act before March 15 to get an extra $200 off. That gives you 2 days of SANS quality instruction for only $995!

Hope to see you there,
Don
