About AusCert

AusCERT is Australia's national computer emergency response team. AusCERT provides a coordination role for handling computer security incidents between affected parties for the benefit of Australian networks. AusCERT is recognised throughout the world for its computer security expertise; its work to raise awareness of computer security issues and its strong focus in the Asia-Pacific region.

About the Conference

In Australia, the AusCERT conference has proven to be the premier IT security event for IT security professionals and anyone with an interest in IT security. This is the seventh year we have been running this conference and interest in the conference from delegates, speakers and sponsors has grown accordingly. In 2007, around 1200 delegates attended and AusCERT2008 is expected to attract similar numbers. As before, we also expect to attract delegates from organisations worldwide.
