it's the ten grand pay cut more than her that's keeping me from going. She was originally planning on flying out the last night of the con so we could make a mini-vacation out of it...and she'd go to the clubs with us.

I know its a far trip for some. It would be cool if one day some of the EH-net members in other countries could make it to a Defcon one year and meet up. You reading this Negrita, lol?

Alrighty, I'm posting here hoping to find a money saver, aka roomate to lower the cost. I'm gearing up to pay for my room and such, will be staying both Blackhat and Defcon.
Things to know about me:
#1. I DON'T snore! Huzza!
#2. Umm... don't smell either?
#3. Relaxed personality, aka don't care about much.
#4. Never been so drunk I pissed in any living space. Rarely puked too.
Things looking for in potential roomie:
#1. Can pay for their half of room.
#2. Not going to defile living space with either things mentioned in #4 above.
#3. That's about it.
If interested, leave a personal message.

Hey good_4sh, if you don't receive a response here, you might try posting the same thing on the forum at the Defcon site.

Yup.
I've now also got a visa for the USA. I was supposed to go to the USA last October but I only got the visa at the end of November. Someone else went in my stead.
Hope you all enjoy the con. Maybe I'll come to one of the future ones.
