greetings everyone, im new to EHN and just wanted to somewhat introduce myslef. I've been 'hacking' on and off for some time now. im a junior physics major in college. im VERY interested in learning alot. ive always wanted to join a community such as  this so expect to see alot me here on EHN. just think, all it took was a random google search.

Greetings.  Having a hunger for knowledge is one of the most important traits for a hacker. That doesn't mean just memorizing and regurgitating existing information, but also taking it in new directions also. Thats what hackers did back int the day. Glad you are here and look forward to your future posts.

hi Jimmy all i got to say is you would never regret for stumbling on EHN at google. sit back ,relax and enjoy your stay.

one advice is to do more research with your own lab(if only you have one) or use the net and this site.

I really recommend anyone new here play with the search function. There are an amazing amount of posts available from wireless hacking to sniffing on this board to first steps to take to learn hacking. Really a gold mine.

hey guys, call me JD. im still in high school and have a thirst for computers.
i hope im not too new at this, i dont want to look like a complete freshman.
i have friends in the hacker community (all white hat i assure you, i dont feel like going to jail) and i know the dangers of the internet, ive come her to learn how to protect myself. hopefully this doesnt warrent me getting server-raped.

its good to meet you guys

Hi JD, and welcome to the community. Being in high school, you've got a lot of time to figure out what direction you'd like to go in (heh, some of us still aren't sure Wink)

Nothing wrong with starting early and getting a jumpstart on things though. I'm sure you'll find the members here to be very helpful as you research, study, and learn.
