Just an observation, but if you are going to plug yourself I would recommend "partenering" up with a spell checker.

Classes are only going to be worth what you put into it and what you intend to do with it. If you attend a class with a good foundation and you plan on moving your career forward in security, then by all means. If you are a total noob that just wants to learn how to hack, then I would say no.

I definitely agree with Kev....you will get out of it what you put into it. Don't expect to go into the class and walk away as some Uber Hacker...the class and certification are really just a testament that you know a few things and you have a good baseline of knowledge. The true value comes from what you do after the certification, and where you take/use your knowledge.
