Just wanted to wish everyone well on this American holiday. For those international readers, Thanksgiving is a time, as the name states, for giving thanks for the things for which you are blessed. So let me say thanks to my wife and family for always supporting me in my wild ideas like this site and ChicagoCon.

Secondly, let me thank all of you. Without you, this site would not be vibrant with varying points of view or be the place for security professionals to advance and help others with their careers.

Let me also mention that I am very grateful for the giving spirit of the EH-Net members. You are always very willing to help the newbies as well as share your experiences with the rest of the crowd. That has truly given EH-Net a unique feel amongst security sites, and why most return regularly to the forums.

Let's be sure to keep that in mind as we trek on towards the end of another successful year.

Giving Thanks to you all,
Don

PS - It also seems like great karma that EH-Net passes the 5,000 member mark on this day.  Cool

Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving and remembers what is important to them. This thanksgiving was special for me as having lost 3 family members this year and a new addition to the family has really reminded me what to be
thankful for.
