Hi I've downloaded the live-cd of 0phcrack and booted from it and I get to the x windows screen and it says found one partition with hashes but then it can't view it and I went on to the forum for 0phcrack and they said it was a bug and was going to be fixed with next version but I downloaded the correct version and its still does not work from the iso. If anyone has any idea of  this or how to fix it I would love the help thanks

Well, first of all, seeing as how you received a reply to your post on the developers site saying "there is a bug and it will be fixed in the next release," that should give you your answer as to why it doesn't work.

Second, if this were something that anyone here could help you with, we certainly can't help if you don't provide accurate/enough information.

I think you need to
1) learn to use Google,
and
2) learn how to ask a question (even Microsoft has a humor here)
