Well as you can guess, I just registered to EHN and I just wanted to introduce myself on the boards here.  I have a little bit of knowledge of programming (I know C/C++ somewhat and Python somewhat), but I am very interested in programming as well as hacking.  I hope to learn alot here.

Welcome aboard. As you come up with any specific questions, throw them in the forums, and they usually get several responses. I'm continually amazed at the willingness of this community to help people with their security-focused careers.

Looking forward to your participation,
Don

PS - How did you find us? Have you been reading for a while and just registered? What made you take the plunge?

Thanks for the welcome.

Well I was just surfing around for some hacker communities and stumbled on this site.  It drew my interest because it is focused on ethical hacking.  I am very intrigued by hacking, but I do not necessarily want to get into something that harms systems or people for that matter.
